Sir Nicholas Grimshaw

He is one of the most prominent figures in British high-tech architecture. He became renowned for lightweight structures, exposed technology and a thoughtful emphasis on sustainability. He designed London’s iconic Waterloo International terminal as well as the Eden Project in Cornwall, with its celebrated geodesic biomes. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to architecture, he was knighted.
