Josef Abrhám

He was one of the most charismatic Czech actors—natural, elegant, and endowed with a subtle sense of humor that won over several generations of viewers. He shone memorably in film, television, and on stage, among other roles in the films The Waiter, Scarper! and Ball Lightning. For many years, he was a mainstay of the Činoherní klub theatre and the lifelong partner of Libuše Šafránková. It was his humanity and nobility that made him a legend.
