A master of playful language, gentle absurdity, and intelligent humor who influenced several generations. As a poet, singer-songwriter, and humorist, he became best known for his collaboration with pianist Petr Skoumal, with whom he created a number of unforgettable songs and sketches. His work, also associated with Semafor Theatre, continues to entertain children and adults alike and has left a significant mark on Czech music and literature.
