Jan Kačer

He was one of the most prominent figures in Czech theatre and film. As an actor, director, and teacher, he helped shape modern acting and left a significant mark on the era of Divadlo za branou and the National Theatre. On stage and in front of the camera, he excelled with a natural, precise, and deeply human performance, convincingly portraying both authoritative figures and fragile, vulnerable characters.
